Hi Mortra Team,
First of all, thank you for creating such a great fitness application. I really enjoy using it to track my workouts and progress.
However, I wanted to share a major pain point Iβve been experiencing regarding how the app handles network connectivity.
The Issue is;
Currently, if I perform a workout while offline (due to poor gym reception, being outdoors, or having mobile data turned off), the app is unable to save my workout progress. Unfortunately, this has resulted in losing all the hard work and data from my sessions, which is quite frustrating.
My Suggestion**
To prevent data loss and improve the user experience, I highly recommend implementing a local caching/storage system:
Local Storage: When the app is offline, workout data should be temporarily saved on the phone's internal storage or the smartwatch memory.
Auto-Sync: Once an active internet connection is detected, the app should automatically sync this local data to your cloud/servers in the background.
This feature is crucial for fitness tracking, as internet access can often be unstable or unavailable during training sessions. Implementing offline tracking would make Mortra significantly more reliable and user-friendly.
Thank you for your time, effort, and for constantly improving the app. I look forward to seeing this feature in a future update!
Best regards
